Our Guarantee: We stand behind the quality of our service. If you are not satisfied with your search results within the first 7 days, we offer a hassle-free money-back guarantee.

1. Subscription Refunds

1.1 Money-Back Guarantee

New subscribers are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of their initial purchase if they are unsatisfied with the service. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

1.2 Monthly Subscriptions

After the initial 7-day period, we do not generally offer refunds for monthly subscriptions. You may cancel at any time to prevent future billing, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing cycle.

1.3 Annual Subscriptions

For annual subscriptions, you may request a pro-rated refund within the first 30 days. We will refund the unused portion of your subscription term, minus the cost of months already used (calculated at the monthly non-discounted rate).

2. Pay-Per-Search Refunds

For one-time search credits or pay-as-you-go purchases:

  • Failed Searches: If a technical error prevents the search from completing, the credit is automatically returned to your account.
  • Zero Results: If a search yields zero results, the credit is NOT automatically refunded, as the search process still consumed resources. However, you may contact support if you believe this was in error.
  • Unused Credits: Unused credits are non-refundable but do not expire as long as your account remains active.

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please follow these steps:

Log in to your account dashboard.

Navigate to Settings

Go to Settings > Billing & Subscription.

Request Refund

Click on "Request Refund" next to the transaction in question or use the "Contact Support" form.

Processing

Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours. Approved refunds are processed immediately but may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

5. Exceptions

Non-Refundable Items & Situations

  • Enterprise/Custom API plans (governed by separate contracts)
  • Accounts terminated due to violation of Terms of Service (e.g., misuse, harassment)
  • Requests made outside the eligible refund window

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at billing@aifacesearch.io.
